It’s the day every girl has dreamt of since they were little. The biggest day in your life so far. Your wedding day is here, and the emotions are flying about! Take a look at these four tips you need to remember on your wedding day:

EAT!

It seems so obvious, a natural human thing to do every day right? Do I even need to remind you of this? I do (no pun intended). It’s common to wake up on the morning of your big day and feel nervous. Sometimes you can feel so nervous you don’t want to eat. Sometimes you just don’t want to eat because you’re afraid you won’t fit in your wedding dress! Don’t be silly ladies, make sure you get a good breakfast in on your wedding day. A cup of coffee and breaky with the girls can help calm those nerves. You need to be energized; it’s going to be a long day. If you don’t eat in the morning, you run the risk of feeling weak and fainting as you walk down the aisle. Oh and FYI eating breakfast won’t automatically make you go up a dress size!!

Don’t forget your engagement ring!

Many women are unaware that it’s customary to wear your engagement ring on your wedding day. It can be a bit confusing because you’ll be given your wedding ring during the ceremony, so what do you do? Most women opt for wearing their engagement ring on their right hand, so the wedding ring gets the left all to itself. But don’t forget to wear it! Your partner didn’t spend all that money on a princess cut engagement ring for you to forget about it! After the ceremony it’s up to you if you wear both rings on the same hand, same finger, even tied round your neck as a necklace. Just don’t forget about it on your big day!!

Photo Prep!

Have an idea of what kind of photos you want taken after the ceremony. Make a list of all the pictures you want done. Be creative, have a few serious ones and a few silly ones. You want to look back on this day and smile/laugh! When you’ve made your list, then give it to the photographer. This way you’ll be more organised after the ceremony, and the pictures won’t take as long. Also, it can be hard to remember picture ideas after you’ve just been married and are overcome with emotions!

Be HAPPY!

Yes, the last thing to remember; be happy! It’s your wedding day, don’t forget to enjoy it. It may (hopefully) be the only one you ever get. Don’t let yourself get too stressed out by little things that happen. It can seem like the whole world is against you on your wedding day. But try to relax and smile all day long. After all, it’s the happiest day of your life!
