About Femme Luxe:

Femme Luxe is an online fashion brand with a glossy feminine look that is 100% geared towards the instagram generation in my opinion. The clothes have a sexy edge no matter what occasion you are buying for. Attention-seekers need look no further: from body-con to crop tops the fits and colours all aim to attract. It’s all eyes on you, girl!

Deals and newness are the name of the game on the Femme Luxe website. You can find a new outfit for your next party, special occasion or just a comfy lounge day… all on a budget. They also include an up-to-date trend menu to help you narrow down your choices based on the latest colours, prints and silhouettes. Most unique are how they organise their collections. Is your vibe ‘Day Drinks’ or just ‘Jeans and a Nice Top.’ Femme Luxe speaks that casual insta language.

First Impressions:

Style on Femme Luxe is super sexy, so at first I was a little intimidated to be honest. I am a sporty down-to-earth gal so the whole concept of ‘Femme Fatal’ or ‘Luxury Lady’ was a little out of my comfort zone. I really had to dig deep into my imagination to look past the glossy styling and imagine how I would wear these outfits.

Affordability is a big thing for me. Especially when you are both shopping online and for events etc, the price has got to be right. You would be absolutely shocked at the prices on here. You can grab bargains for as little as £0.99! The average price for most items is around £15 to £30 and the highest priced item is about £40.

Quality can be hit or miss sometimes with online shopping. I was pleasantly surprised when my items came in the post (Super fast shipping, I might add!). Several of the items came with ‘Made in Italy’ or ‘Made in the UK’ on the tags. In a world where most products come from China, this seemed like a good sign. The items are made of decent quality materials, fit true-to-size, were finished nicely and matched my expectations from the model images online.

My Choices:

1. Mustard Bardot Cable Knit Oversized Jumper – Melanie

My first choice was the Mustard Bardot Cable Knit Oversized Jumper. It is made from a soft knit fabric; a blend of acrylic, polyamide and wool. It is the ultimate off-duty piece. You can totally dress it up or down with heels or sliders. Also it is in this season’s must have hue of mustard yellow. It comes in 2 sizes: S/M or M/L which fits an 8/10 or 12/14 respectively.

2. Rust Animal Snake Print Long Sleeve Crop Jumper – Sienna

Continuing with the jumper vibe I was going with I next added the Rust Animal Snake Print Long Sleeve Crop Jumper to my basket. I love the earthy tones and loose fit. I love that it incorporates fashion’s current obsession with snakeskin, but makes it softer and more accessible with in-demand knit work. This crop jumper is a definitely a must have in your wardrobe. I paired it with casual jeans and platform heeled boots for a somewhat casual edgy look but the website paired it with super sexy pleather leggings and leather-look lace up skirts for an even sexier look. Perspex heels anyone?

3. Khaki Stripe Hooded Crop Sweater Jumper – Gia

My cropped jumper vibe took a sporty turn in this seriously comfy Khaki Stripe Hooded Crop Sweater Jumper. I love that you can go from gym to street in 0-seconds-flat. For the gym I paired it with a sports-bra; low-key luxe Lululemon leggings and my must-have running shoes, the Hoka One One Cliftons. For a more off-duty look you can always go with Femme Luxe’s suggestion and style with skinny jeans and box fresh trainers. The sizing on this jumper is more varied; from size 6 to 14.

4. Dusky Pink With White Stripe Lounge Wear Set – Lexi

Lounge-wear sets are literally one-stop shopping and made my final choice super easy. The Dusky PinkWith White Stripe Lounge Wear Set featuring cropped hoodie and long legged pants called out again to the runner in me, and definitely you could take it for a casual jog or gym session, but let’s be honest lounging is what this set does best! It has a high waist, elastic hem and cropped top. Those box-white trainers would again be awesome styled with this set for a streetwear look or for a more luxe vibe you can throw on a pair of metallic stilettos.

The Item I can’t stop wearing:

The Mustard Bardot Cable Knit Oversized Jumper – Melanie  is the one piece I can’t seem to stop wearing. Oh. My. Gosh. It is so cozy! I wear it around the house, on errands, to the cafe… you name it. 100% recommended from me!

Would I Order Again?

Totally! Very wearable and decent quality items delivered quickly and great communication from their team.

What do you think? Would you wear any of the pieces I chose, or maybe you have different picks from the Femme Luxe site? Let me know in the comments.
