Lancome has brought out the new Teint Idole Ultra Foundation and I have been super excited to try it out with all the hype about it in the beauty community.  There are 28 colours to select from which is fantastic considering the limited ranges we are all used to.  The foundation claims to be oil free, have 24 hour wear and be the best complexion-perfecting coverage. What I Tried Out Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Foundation Review:

• 01 Beige Albatre
• 025 Beige Lin

 

Packaging:

I loved the packaging; the frosted glass and delicate rose logo at the top looked luxe and the pump delivered just the right amount of product with ease.  Lancome has such a great reputation and the packaging certainly delivered a luxurious feel.

Application of the Product:

• It was lightweight and though the packaging says it has no scent I could swear it had a delicate almost rosy hint of fragrance.
• I would say that it has a medium coverage but it can easily be built up.  I used a regular foundation brush to apply as I felt it reacted better to being applied by bristles rather than a beauty blender or my fingers.
• The foundation instantly seemed to even out my skin and reduce the appearance of redness.  I still applied some concealer over the top to take care of my especially dark circles.
• I felt that the foundation made my skin look radiant, fresh and almost dewy.
• I didn’t notice any dry patches, though some who don’t like too much shine may want to add a bit of powder.

As I mentioned; I tried out both the 01 Beige Albatre and the 025 Beige Lin.  The two shades were only subtly different and I plan to use them for both my paler and more tan days.  It is definitely worth trying them out in a store if you can to get your perfect shade.

End of the day Impressions:

It really did last all day! I was so excited to see that I didn’t lose any of my look by the end of a long day.

Bottom Line:

The Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation has everything I love in a good foundation: a gorgeous radiant finish, long lasting and fragrance free.  I love that it lasts and wears evenly throughout an entire workday and in all weather conditions.
