Both the day and night creams contain pro-retinol and sodium hyaluronate. Retinol is a form of vitamin A, and it’s anti-ageing abilities were first discovered when doctors discovered that acne patients being treated with Vitamin A prescriptions were experiencing positive side effects by way of softer skin and fewer lines and wrinkles. Hyaluronic Acid targets wrinkles and increases the firmness of the skin.
These creams contain retinal palmitate, which is one of the gentler pro-retinols. Though it is gentler it is less effective than pure retinoic acid as this is only available on prescription in the EU. Our bodies still have to convert it into retinoid acid and thus the more steps our body has to do, the less effective it becomes. However this also makes it a great way to slowly introduce retinol to our bodies. It is essential to build up your usage slowly t make sure your body can tolerate and process it.

I always use the serum as a base for both the day cream and the night cream. You only need a pea sized amount as a little goes a long way. The same goes for the creams, you need a swipe of the finger for each side of the face and can work the product throughout your face and down your jawline and neck. As I mentioned, you do need time to build up your use of retinol. As for the night cream, it absorbs easily into the skin and doesn’t feel heavy or cloying. I have woken up with skin that already feels plump, moisturised and refreshed. Honestly, if you only wanted to invest in one product out of the set, this would be the one as you almost don’t feel like you need the day cream when you wake up. With the daydream, it feels light and also absorbs easily. It is a great base for makeup application, though I’d recommend to wait a few minutes before applying for best results.
My Thought On Super Facialist Retinol Anti Ageing Set Review
I have been using these products for about a month. Though I’ll have to work my way through the whole pot to see certain results, I’m already noticing that my skin is soft, smooth and plumper than before. I had black eyes due to a cycling accident and I can see that this is slowly becoming less noticeable, and I have read that these sorts of creams can be of help.
The only downside to these products is that they do not have a built in SPF, so I would definitely recommend adding some sort of sun protectant into this routine to first protect your skin from harmful UV rays before you can take full advantage of the anti-aging benefits.
Despite the lack of SPF I definitely recommend these products. It is a great way to get started in using retinol or anti-aging products in general and from my personal experience, has visible results quickly.
