Mask:

First things first, a mask is very necessary for snorkelling to protect your eyes. Ocean Reed Aria Full Face snorkel mask keeps your whole face dry and covered. Unlike any other mask, it allows you to breathe through both nose and mouth, making your snorkelling experience more natural and fun.

Snorkel:

An efficient snorkel to allow you to breathe underwater is must-have. This simple Slalom Snorkel by Omer can easily wrap around your head. This is to ensure it doesn’t get stuck on the rocks while you are underwater. Simply Scuba Underwater Camera & Snorkelling Essentials

Don’t forget to pack your snorkelling suit with you to keep you warm and protected underwater. Proteus II Women’s 5 MM suit and Proteus II Men’s 5MM suit has a soft and flexible Hexacore and Thermoflex lining. Its to lock the water outside and give you a warm snorkelling experience.

Fins:

Fins are important for a steady swim which you enjoy the marine life to the fullest. Mares X One Fins are the finest quality short fins that prevent the parachute effect while swimming. The best part is they come in two vibrant colours. Simply Scuba Underwater Camera & Snorkelling Essentials

Snorkeling bag:

A waterproof bag to keep your clothes and equipment dry before and after the dive is an essential. Go for Mares Dry Bag which is made up of premium quality waterproof fabric. Its spacious enough to accommodate clothes and 85 cm long fins with ease.

Defogger:

Defogger is used by many scuba divers to maintain that crystal clear feature of their eye masks. ISC absolutely clear is the best defogger to go for in the market. One application lasts a whole day which makes this tub pretty long lasting.

Snorkeling west:

Snorkeling vest is a life saver when the user gets tired while snorkelling or starts losing control. Tusa Snorkeling vest can be inflated using its easy to use, 6” inflator valve for float back to the surface.

Changing Mat:

Make changing a whole lot easy and mess-free with this Simply Scuba Changing Mat. It is made of waterproof fabric to protect your equipment and car from getting wet. The drawstring closure also allows the wet clothes to stay inside the changing mat.

Protective Hood:

If you get rash on the skin due to elongated exposure to water then Shark Skin Hood is the best option. It is made up of Trilaminate material that does not allow moisture to get in contact with your body. It makes you feel warm and protected while you plunge into the ocean.

  • Natasha, great list of what to pack for snorkeling. I think it’s best to use a full face snorkel mask like you show above. That way you won’t need a separate mask and snorkel and they are way more comfortable to use. Never thought of a hood but it can be a great idea for certain snorkeling excursions. Thanks for sharing!
