FTT Glasgow Exfoliator Cleanser Review: Glasglow: The Eco-Exfoliator Improving Skin Complexion, Condition, Confidence and Carbon Footprint

FTT Skin Clinics Introduces Luxury Eco-Exfoliator that Combines the Nature and Beauty Worlds

When Frances Turner Trail started FTT Clinics with 30 years of healthcare experience under her belt, creating ‘ethical, effective and luxury skincare’ was her main aim. With the launch of new eco-exfoliating cleanser, Glasglow, that aim is as clear as ever.

“I created the Glasglow eco-exfoliator with both care for one-self and care for mother earth” Frances shares. “The original word for Glasgow means “Dear Green Place” and I’d like to keep it that way!” she continues, before sharing the juicy details of the products all natural ingredients.

The exfoliator works to smooth areas of rough skin, leaving complexion smooth fresh and glowing. “Glycolic acid has been added to break down keratin to release dead epidermal cells” Frances continues, detailing each natural ingredient and it’s properties. ”Sustainably sourced bamboo has been added for mechanical exfoliation along with hydrated quartz“

The product, containing enzymatic peeling ingredients Mango, Papaya and Pumpkin, gently exfoliates the skin while remaining eco-friendly. “These have been sourced from the juicing industry from their left-over peels so are up-cycled food waste” Frances details, explaining the work that she has done to reduce both the product and company’s eco-footprint.

It is important to FTT that every element follows this pattern of sustainability. Consequently, the product has been launched in an aluminium reusable tin which can be recycled or refilled. This ensures that every element of the product is giving back to mother nature and significantly reducing the companies environmental impact .

“Aluminium is often overlooked as a packaging item perhaps because it isn’t so pretty” Frances explains her packaging choice, continuing “it is lightweight so the carbon footprint is really low compared to glass”.

Interestingly Aluminium can be recycled an infinite number of times without degrading, plastic can only be recycled 3 times before it becomes to brittle to reuse.

This all-natural wonder touches all bases of eco-awareness, and is a must have luxury product for those passionate about sustainability of both the planet and skin. Packed with ethically sourced goodies, Glasglow will enrich your beauty routine without compromising the world around you!

This retails at £43.00 and is available online and in store HERE
